| Here I wanted to increase the contrasts between the house , the woods and the foreground from my original painting. I was less concerned with accuracy and consequently the shapes are more geometrical.

| Just East of Pendleton, OR, on I-84, this house shares a view point with travelers. The clouds over the vista were wispy spirals, like cotton. The contrast of the golden grasses with the cobalt sky was striking.
